SALT

Several studies have established that our intake of 10-15 grams of salt a day is well above the recommended limit.
Anyone who wants to eat in a conscious way should not exceed the daily dose of 6 grams, which is about a teaspoon.
We should try to avoid processed food as often as possible, even though it is tempting because it is time saving.

Salt is also hidden in microwaveable soups, in sauces, preserves, cakes, breads and meats.

When we cook, let’s use less salt and more herbs and spices. This small change will help us protect our kidneys and prevent, for example, cardiovascular diseases, strokes and heart attacks.
